  2. Beat in the egg, the grated lemon zest, and lemon juice slowly.
  3. Stir in the flour, salt, and baking soda until they incorporate well into your mixture.
  4. Take the dough and divide into 4 equal pieces, make each piece a little bit less flat than what you want your cookies to be.
  5. Wrap the dough pieces into plastic wraps separately and put them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180° Celsius / 350° Fahrenheit degrees.
  7. Take the first piece of dough out of the refrigerator and out of the plastic wrap.
  8. Form your cookies with your Christmas cookie cutters.
  9. Line some parchment paper on your baking pan and place your cookies on it.
  10. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, remove and put aside.
  11. Follow the same process for the rest of the dough pieces.

For The Frosting

  1. Beat the sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until you have a smooth mixture.
  2. Beat until you can spread it with a spatula or a spoon.
